Key fob-Climate control Settings

At my wits end on my 2011 M3's climate setting at start up. When I turn my car on, the settings on my climate control are driver side 74, passenger side 70. Also the air is just ON as opposed to the A/C being on. The fan speed is somewhere in the middle. Is there a way to SET the climate control to A/C 60 degrees and highest fan speed upon starting the car? My other M3 does the exact same thing but the air settings are driver side 64 and passenger side 68. So it is fairly obvious that these are not factory settings. I have tried putting the key fob in the holder, start the car up, put the A/C on full blast where I want it, press the Memory button on the seat and set it to no avail. And yes I have searched. I have read threads. And no, It's not the end of the world to hit the Max A/C button upon start up each time I enter the car. I just want to know if it can be set and if anyone knows how to do it.

Wild, I never knew default aircon settings could be changed. I thought they just came on at whatever you turned the car off at.
That said, you really want max AC @ 60F every time you start up your car right away? I guess that sounds more sensible in FL.

Yea I would like it ice cold when it comes on, It's 90 to 95 here every day. When I turn the car on sometimes it's set at 80ish which is definitely not what it was at when I turned it off, grrr.

Whichever temperature I left it on last, "Auto" will blast the hell out of 69°F if that's what I left it on last and it's hot outside. Mine always gets going with whatever I left it on last.

I suggest setting it at 60 if that's what you want and leaving it on "auto" when you get out of the car. Seems to work for me.

Unfortunately it does not work for me on either vehicle.

Hmm... can't help here. My car AC comes on at the same temp and settings I left it on last time. Never bothered to figure out if this related to a particular key fob or just the system recalling the last setting. Sorry!

Mine does the same, with 1 exception. If you push the "MAX" button and shut the car off, it will restart in "AUTO" mode.

in my CCC there is a setting within the climate control that says remember last setting, or something of that nature. i dont think there is anything to set it at a different temp then where you left the vehicle last--like if u want 60deg.
also, whether you put it on 60 deg or 74 deg, it shouldnt matter when first starting your car. The temp in the car is already eleventy billion degrees when you first start up, so AC will be full fan and full cold no matter what the temp is set at. When i get to my car this afternoon (in the parking garage at work ) i'll let you know where the setting is.

Transfer, yea I was just kind of adding the fob to my question just in case. But the key for me is that I can leave the vehicle with AC set at full blast at 60. I can have the heat full blast at 84. And this is for both vehicles. Next time I start the cars the systems will do whatever they want. But what they will NEVER do is be sitting at the same setting from when I was last in the car. I'll try Carly, thanks Imad.

i usually get home on max/auto (but when i turn off max my setting is on 60).

when i start the car, it starts at auto/one bar/60

have you noticed that even when you hit max when the car is just started, it waits a bit and then goes into max mode even when you have already told it to?

Turned vehicle off with AC set on max, fan on max. One hour later started up vehicle and this is what it was on. Again, not an issue, but I am curious why it's starting at 60 for driver and 66 for passenger. Also it's Auto as opposed to Max AC.

I left the vehicle with ac set on max, fan speed at highest bars. An hour later I jump in the car and I'm on auto and 60/67 degrees. Tomorrow they could be at 70/84 degrees. It's easy enough for me to just hit ac max and all is good again but... if it can be saved I would sure love to know how.

My friend , you should do your dash with *Aerospace 303 Protectant*
Don't spray it directly on your dash . But spray it on a microfiber applicator .
I can see a serious amount of *DUST* on your dash . And Aerospace 303 works *ANTI-STATIC* , so dust makes no chance on your dash with Aerospace 303 !
Works great in my car !

This is a setting I had set up in the Carly app as mentioned but I don't recall if mine acted as yours prior to the setting change. Being in Florida as well I know how you feel with the heat. Carly setting has it set at whatever I left it at when the car was turned off
