Purchasing advice E93 M3 Value

I found a local 2 owner loaded E93 in white, manual, less than 15k miles. As far as I can tell, car has Technology, Premium and Cold Weather package.

What is a fair price for such car if inspection comes up good? This would be a weekend car for me, and having owned an E36 M3 I always wanted another M3.

Thank you in advance.

The year would be helpful.

Could be $30K if everything checks out. E93s are a bit cheaper than the rest.

Haha, all good.
I can't imagine an 08 E93 going for >$25K, but what do I know. Probably a tough car to price given its really low miles and early build.

That is kinda what I am thinking too... like most everyone, I would prefer the regular 2 door, but I know the car would not see the race track, nor will I ever get close to the car's true potential on regular roads. With that in mind, and if I can get a good price, a convertible in manual is appealing.

$25k would be the max if everything is as pristine as you say. But yea low 20’s otherwise. Pics would help a ton.

It might be way more than I think is worth... I have seen it, is very clean, but I would not go as far as collectors item. Faily certain he's had it for a few months, looking to flip it.

Keep us posted on what seller settles for. Asking because I have the identical car but with 20k miles now, purchased it at 14k

Will do... personally, based on what I have seen locally I think that is a 27k car if it all checks out and the car does not need anything at all. 35k is a dream in my opinion, but we will see.

Hehe, that adds $5k to the price and a minimum of 15HP.

By way of comparison, here's one up the road in Tacoma for $23K.https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/c...077023215.html

I have not seen the car and cannot vouch for it in any way, but am just offering it for a comp. The dealer's website claims 54K miles. They have it listed as an automatic, but that sure looks like a shifter to me!

Thank you, I was looking at this one as well for comparison purposes. I like the aesthetic basic mods done, it make that front end look so much better in my opinion.

weight != hp

It doesn't work like as far as how the car feels, but if the extra weight doesn't bother you then go for it.

Yeah, extra weight not a big concern to me, I got an STI with a big ass OEM wing if I need to act silly!

Agree that $35k is dreaming...but you never know all it takes is one guy.

Personally I'd rather get one with 40-50k miles for low $20s and not suffer the depreciation that will undeniably take place.

If you plan to drive a car like that, the "Collector Grade" will quickly erode and it will just be a first model year example with the Atari navigation.

I paid about this guy’s asking price for an ‘08 E93 in June of 2018, but it only had 3,000 miles on the clock. No regrets. The car was, and still is, like it was just driven off the showroom floor. I’m personally willing to pay over current market value for a flawless example when I shop for a car. The seller may find another fool like me! (assuming the condition is like he describes it)

I am a lot like this, willing to pay extra for a flawless example, IF I can find such thing. How to do you like your E93, any regrets?

Pull comps from carmax, eBay and autonation to get an idea of the market, eBay has tools to show what similar cars have sold for. Carmax always seem to have a few vert m3's but they move them.

Here's a good comp

Really nice car for the money...35% less
I’d personally go with this instead.
