Yep. It'll be fun trying it. Also have a friend who works at BMW and see if he can get it at cost.

$160 retail on a $65 part is a rip off. That's just principle.

So... do they sell just the button cover? My EDC button had a broken clip. Managed to last with 1 broken clip for a few months but now its completely off. The button works, just without the actual plastic cover that says "EDC."

Can I buy just the little black button clip? Or am I supposed to spend the money for the entire 3 button assembly?

Same thing happened to me...my DSC button cover broke off...does anyone know if its possible to somehow replace the clip instead of the whole module if I find a used module (unfortunately the used one doesn't have EDC like my car)
