Dyno #s for M3

Since there have been plenty of threads on this- figured I'd chime in.

Had my car on the dyno yesterday, it got a best of 326rwhp and 240rwtq. I'll post the graph if anyone is interested.

On that note my buddy put his brand new 5.0 mustang on and he pulled 372rwhp and 362rwtq. They're rated at 412hp and supposed to be just as fast according to magazines but seeing the power curve and it's weight compared to the M3, it looks like it would own the M3.

Did you read the article from Car & Driver? Pretty good, and a VERY close call. M3 FTW though!!

Considering the actual performance numbers are similar, doesn't this just prove that peak hp/tq numbers never tell the whole story? Would be interesting to see the graphs of both of the cars from the OP.

I put my car on a dyno last summer, at 32 C it put up an average of 385 PS over two runs.

Equal to 378 HP to the wheels if I'm not mistaken.

We used nos2 dyno...here is the link to what it looks like. http://nos2.de/sites/pruefst.html

Here are the dyno graphs. The power bands on both cars look good. Sorry about the GT graph, when I printed it, I selected speed opposed to RPM; but that doesn't make a difference other than knowing what RPM it did what at. They were both dyno'd from 2500 rpm on to redline.
