We got the material at PYSpeed. Its a pretty close match, just a little more shiny than the stock parts. But since it will be on a different plane it will not be noticeable. Might be wrapping the steering wheel surround too. Will be posting a DIY with lots of pics.

Modding early is the way to go!

Several of my mods, including Dinan diff, exhaust, software and springs were installed prior to taking delivery!

Looking forward to the completed build!

Great father/son project going on here. Even on the lift, those wheels look very, very good against the AW. You're going to have a nice ride.

Just got word from the dealer that they can't get their equipment to program the 2010 M3. Apparantly there is some change to the 2010 DME. They have to send it out to Dinan for programming.

So... I won't get the car until Friday or Monday.

Darn. I guess that's the price you pay for being on the "bleeding edge." Since the car is in for all the other stuff, the ECU won't hold you up too much, will it. When were you expecting it originally?

Almost there!!!

Alright guys,

We got most of the cosmetics done today even with my dad recovering from reconstructive mouth surgery my dad had yesterday.

Got the grills, side gills tinted and gloss black, painted reflectors, gloss black M3 badge, all done in about an hour. Now just the big cosmetics.

Heres some more pics with all that done and all the Dinan stuff done other than the pulley.

This car is absolutely amazing! The exhaust note is perfect, no drone at all, great intake sounds. Just perfect!
