2010 M3 Project Car, almost done
Hi Guys:
Like so many of you, I just took delivery of my new M3 Coupe. Against the advise of a few of you, I decided to do a wide range of mods prior to break in. I picked her up yesterday and took a 20 mile drive to get the feel of her stock. This morning they have started installing my Dinan mods. Here's the list of mods I'm having done: Dinan Stage 2 Software Dinan Intake Dinan Middle Exhaust Dinan 3.62 LSD Dinan Free Flow Exhaust Dinan Stage 1 Suspension Dinan pulley kit Advan 20" RS-D black wheels Blacked out trim every where possible Black front spoiler and rear diffuser Black paint roof, (I decided on a sunroof) gp thunder 8500k Angle Eyes 20% tint on windows Here a couple pictures stock. I'll be new posting pictures as the mods come together.

wow you're slapping on everything pretty early. Besides not doing any break-in, which in my opinion is pretty important, you might get bored quick don't you think? either way. Nice color! And I hope you enjoy your car!

Thanks man! And just to be clear, I totally plan to do a proper break in, just with a lot more power under the hood.

Yeah, I know it's sad what we do to our kids. Even my grandkids are car crazy, and they're both under 3 years old.
Some things never change. I've been messing with cars and mods since I was 16. I still love it every bit as much now as I did then. Life is good!!!

Good question? Should have been at my dealer by now, and it hasn't arrives. I'm trying to verify availability now.

Great car and project.
If it's not too late, I'd go ahead and take the suspension to Stage II by adding the camber plates. If you might do ANY performance driving you'll wish that you had more negative camber. While you've got it apart, the plates are a non-issue to install. Avoid most of the extra labor of a 2d install and 2d alignment, if there's any chance you'll autocross or do HPDE. Dave

I did all my mods right up front and never looked back. (It's only been a few months). If you're going to do all that stuff anyway, I say, "Why not enjoy it for a long as possible?" Dave

Also, you'll avoid a second break in of your FD by getting it done right up front.

Cool way to break it in, wonder what they'll say on service day
I think your wheel choice will kind of pop well with a jet black roof and Gills/grilles |
