Sorry too late now for me to make the translation of what I found. Sure I will do in another moment.
Here the list:

1.0 Numero di telaio
1.1 Contatore KM

1.2 Parts number

1.3 Coding-, Diagnostic- and Bus-index

1.4 Data di Produzione (Calendario settimana/anno)

1.5 Hard- and Software status

1.6 Stato dell’iniezione, contatore cilindri, fattori del motore.

2.0 Combisystem Test

3.0 contatore intervallo manutezione

4.0. (?)

4.1 Consumption in liters/100kms. (?)

5.0 Consumo istantaneo di benzina in l/100km

5.1 Autonomia instantanea in KM.

6.0 Litri presenti nei due serbatoi es. 123321 =12,3liters left 32,1 liters right

6.1 Litri presenti nel serbatoio in totale

6.2 Show value of Fuel guage. 1= both senders OK, 2= sender failure, 3=ti signal unplausible (no reading) (?)

7.0 Temperatura instantanea liquido refrigerante

7.1 Temperatura instantanea esterna

7.2 Giri del motore in digitale.

7.3 Velocità instantanea in digitale

8.0 Hexadecimal readings of menu 7.0 to 7.3

10.0 Codici nazione

14.0 - 14.4 On board diagnostic codes. Es. 000000 = no failures

15.0 - 18.0 No function

19.0 On/Off for Test menu.

20.0 Fattore di correzione per consumo di benzina

Formula per il fattore di correzione:

Shown consumption x 1000 / user defined consumption

Push the trip reset button to begin the correction. Numbers count up from 0-9, when correct number shows
push trip reset button.

20.1 Sets 10ths. for consumption factor

20.2 Sets 100ths. and 1000ths. for consumption factor

20.3 Saves the new consumption factor and shows new value

21.0 Software reset. (accade lo stesso disconnettendo la batteria)

L'unico accorgimento da fare, secondo me è di lasciar perdere i menu' 20 e 21 poichè non mi sono chiari, per il resto buona navigazione

bye bye now
Which method did you use to get this? I've seen two mentioned in this thread.

How to unlock the OBC?

I have tried to unlock in menu 19.0 but I´m not able to do it. It shows lockn, then i press the reset button and it shows code:00, i press again and shows code:01, etc

How do you unlock the system to be able to see the data?

The reset button for the partial km will be named from now : 'T'.
START:
1: insert the ig.key into the slot pushing in the meantime the T button. You enter into the secret menu. It will appear a code like for example ZB12345.
2: You have to add all the numbers you see. Example:12345 = 1+2+3+4+5 = 15.
Remember this sum.
3: Push 'T' several times untill you will see the menu n.19. Wait for about 2 seconds.
4: it will appear the sentence : "lock on" and after other 2 sec. "code 00".
5ush the "T" button how many times like the sum you got before (in this case : 15).Ok now you have entered into the secret menu.
Now the menu will go automatically to menu number 01.
6: push the "T" button for example 7 times and wait for some seconds untill you will enter into the sub-menu 7.1- 7,2 etc . In this area you will see the water temperature...For the complete list read the precedent post.

Note: when the car is not with the engine running, make a test with the menu n. 2....Very spectacular....

Here is another thread from e90post with all the menus translated and similar instructions. The code to unlock is the last five digits of the VIN added together. Same as what shows up under option 01. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4320

I personally have only used it to see the true speed of the car, as the speedometer always reads higher by a certain percentage than how fast you are actually going.

You are right. The pic that you see in the avatar is the only one I actually have. It was made made by my son at the dealer.

I will try to take some this week for all of you.

It's like a Christmas tree , we tested the secret menu yesterday, cool stuff! However, if 1.4 is data di produzione, ours is 29/11/2007 and we ordered the car on the 24/11/2007 (which was Saturday so the order left only the week after probably on 27 or 28/11) which means that either BMW is really quick executing the orders or we were actually REALLY lucky and got a car that was already planned to go on the production line. Or maybe it was just simply a match made in heaven

I certainly don't want to rain on heaven but it could be your dealer updated it prior to delivery!

After having read this thread and researching the web, I think the only secret menu item I'd like to have is one that nukes the dreaded "Accept" screen we Americans have to tolerate

too bad the secret menu wont allow you to tune your car or do cool stuff that can affect the cars performance. That be pretty cool, like if you entered a secret code for a video game haha.

That I very much doubt, what would he gain with that ? Nothing at all. When we ordered the car he told us the delivery date given by BMW Germany was in February (normal 3 months waiting) but we actually received the car already in mid-January. So I believe the Germans are just very efficient !

I've been trying to access this menu and I just don't understand at all how to gain access to this menu...

What is the "milage reseter"/partial km? The button on the blink left/right thing? Or the one on the dashboard that resets the trip meter?
