Nice.

I notice that they only sell the upper o-rings, so if we want to purchase these injectors, we would just the lower o-rings elsewhere?

And can we re-use the original clips?

Without clips and o-rings the injectors are actually on sale for $160!

Who sells only the uppers?

FCP sells both (I think you have to dig for the part number...) but if you buy a new injector, they come with o-rings.

"Replacement fuel injectors include o-ring 13641437476(upper) and o-ring 13647675557(lower). Fuel injector securing clip p/n 13537528539 will need to be ordered separately."

Cheers,

Cheers,
It comes with both rings. I went ahead and bought new clips although it’s not necessary. Not sure why it indicates otherwise.

Grabbed all 8, with new o rings and clips and a new FBV for 230.00 shipped. under $200 without the FBV, but you know...while you're there. I dont know why you would clean old injectors when these can be had for this price.

Surprised they didn’t go quicker, great deal.

Geez, $160 for 8 new injectors is crazy, didn't know they could be had for so little.

I recently had my injectors cleaned and flow-tested for $15/ea just because I was already in there. The tech said the injectors were just fine, but 1 of them flowed a tiny bit less than the rest before cleaning. Not enough to cause any issues tho. This was at 77,800 miles.

https://www.rcfuelinjection.com/Stor...ector-cleaning

just out of curiosity
which is the correct option if you were clean the injectors?

injector prices have gone up since this thread was originally posted
but I think it's still only marginally higher than getting them cleaned

I'm not exactly sure, but if you contact them… They'll be able to confirm.

If you do end up cleaning them, make sure to do the flow testing too.

Our engines have top-feed rail mounted injectors. It's the first one on that list.

Some people says you should replace your injectors every 95K miles, to make your car running right and efficient.
