It ran on my car months ago... My car was driven to Bimmerfest and to the European Car photoshoot location. They have been testing the hardware on cars in Australia. I'd just love to see some dyno charts. The hardware is beyond reproach, I just hope that the tuning follows suit.

What did it make? I think the kit looks promising and it is well built from what I could tell at bimmerfest, but I'm not fond of dyno vids when no #'s are posted along with it.

According to the reps at Bimmerfest their target release date was this fall. If this is a working kit then they may be close to meeting their goal.

Here's the torque curve with the same Harrop TVS1320 supercharger on an Audi RS4 4.2l V8.

Hope the S65 looks as good as this.

The SC used on the S65 is 320CC larger and it has 200CC's less to feed. I am sure it will keep making power up top. Most positive displacement SC's that are sized properly will keep making power beyond redline. Just look at the 2013 Ford GT500's power curve, it also uses a TVS blower, albeit a 2300CC unit!

Believe me, Im all for this, but it just doesn't seem to provide the results i was hoping for. I FULLY understand the differences in the motors play a huge role, but im looking where boost comes in early vs the other kits on the market, and also the topend dying off larger than the boost taper occurring.

Full boost isnt hit until about 2500 rpm, I anticipated full boost by 1800-2000rpm

Just "ok"? Show me a centrifugal kit that comes anywhere close to this kit "down low" (at sub-4K rpm).

They just have to get the "reliability" part right and they can justifiably ask for a 15%-20% premium over what's already out there. If they actually manage to sort out the engine management software and put out a credible kit with warranty and tech support it would be quite a feat. Buyers will probably need to run 305's in the back to put the power down

My mistake.

In this case, check out the curves on this graph:

Full boost is available at idle. This is what positive displacement is: a measured displacement of air per revolution.

And there's no boost tapering because of the same reason.

The Audi graph below shows a huge area under the curve starting at the beginning of the rev range.

Centrifugal kits however will suffer from what you speak of.

+1. Centrifugals can't compare to positive displacement superchargers in terms of low rpm torque.

Close to what? Every other kit is doing better than that, and thats not even an S65 your arguing for.

Look how much you are trading for that, its not a good balance. Believe me, im all for adding more low tq, but the graph above crashed my expectations

Name one kit that's better. Most centi's offer just about "stock" performance in the sub-4K range.

This kit would definitely make me come over to the M3 side if it turns out to be the most reliable and powerful. If that's even possible to go together lol.

If you leave the bottom end stock with 0.001" clearance and that kind of power, you'll always be questioning the reliability. Build the bottom end, cleareance the journals, use Carrillo rods, and you should be good to go for a long time.

Are you sure that you're interpreting these results correctly Sicke?

If you look closely at the graphs below, you will see three lines.

1. Baseline: Stock Audi RS4 B7 4.2
2. Middle line: TVS 1320 Audi RS4 B7 4.2
3. Top line: TVS 1740 Audi RS4 B7 4.2

You will note:

The 1740 kit (3) delivers a minimum increase in torque of 150 lb/ft and a maximum of 250 lb/ft over stock (1).

The 1740 kit (3) also delivers a minimum increase of 40 horsepower and maximum of over 200 horsepower over stock (1).
