Help! Mineral White/Bamboo or Apline/Bamboo on E93

My order has been delayed due to mid year changes. Have the opportunity to change the color code.. I live in south fla, and have yellow pollen on my car almost every day.. Worried about it staining and getting into the paint of Alpine.. Never owned a non clear coated car.. I hear even with wax the stain can get into the paint.. I love the stark whiteness of Alpine, but think I might be better off with the metallic..

Has anyone seen a Mineral White M3? Any pictures?

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Was thinking Jerez Black/Black, but don't want the maintenance..

Thanks all!!

I have never seen a E9x M3 in Mineral White but you can check this out: http://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176592

And you can read this (Alpine White versus Mineral White):

It's really hard to tell the difference from a distance unless the 2 cars are parked next to each other. But I suppose that's the same between BSM and jet black. Mineral white seems slightly shinier as well.

I ended up putting an order for alpine white because I like the color a little better and save $500 for other options. Doesn't hurt that it's BMW's classic racing color. But the difference is subtle and they both look great. Can't go wrong either way.

If I was ordering a new M3, and mineral white would be an option. I wouldn't even think twice about it. DEF go for Mineral White...80% of M3s on this forum are white, and 99% of those are Alpine White, so if you have the option of getting Mineral White and being a bit different from AW. GO FOR IT!!!

Yeah Mineral White would be unique. At least for now.

Alpine white quality is terrible. You need metallic to keep the shine. Alpine looks good from far but is far from good. Mineral all the way

+1 Exactly the reason why I changed from AW to MW!

No. That's the nice thing about it. Brilliant White is the pearly one. In fact I haven't really seen a photo of Mineral White where the metallic is visible, it's subtle and just enough to make the car look a bit shinier.

In my opinion Mineral White is more stark, and makes Alpine White look yellow/creamy.

Here is a link to a 7 series in Mineral white with a light tan leather similar to bamboo:

Kinda weird that you asked if the MW was pearly, and then replied by saying that you already saw one...

Here are a bunch of good shots of mineral white

compare that to Brilliant White

With Mineral you just get the shine, with Brilliant you kind of get that pearly luster.

How about Dakar Yellow if you can get it. Sure, it's 5K or so for individual colors, but either that or some other shade of yellow might eliminate your pollen concern a bit. How about pollen yellow? j/k

I'd go AW, MW looks to Lexus like for me. But that's just IMO, you're the one who needs to decide.

Mineral White takes on different characteristics depending on the angle you view it from. Often times I found that it had hints of silver in it, and then from other angles, a bit of a creamy pearl-like tone. It's definitely unique, and would probably pair best with a beige, tan, brown interior.
