Updated pictures the trunk came in...

still haven't made a choice on what part of the trunk I am going to show the carbon fiber on.

Much thanks to Joe@EuroDyne/Carbon 8 for coming through on this 1 of a kind trunk.

The body shop said "this trunk is just like OEM with 1/4 of the weight" just tells you the type of the product they put out at EuroDyne/Carbon 8

Also, update, the shop is not just sanding down the original paint and shooting it with a flat clear, it is actually going to be a full paint job, a flat white base will be shot, then a flat clear over it. ITS GOING TO BE SICK!

Hey man hope all is well with you, it was great meeting you. Everyone says the same about the white lip, they hated it in pictures but loved it in person. So that said I already got the white lip look probably will be going with the flat black center gloss black lip look. As far as the wheels go, they are going to be changed for Sema and the lip sizes should be 4" for the front and 5.5" for the rear. Might actually do a 3.5" for the front so you can see the staggered look more. Are you going out to Sema?

hahaha no doubt man, we going to rock it. I was looking at the trunk again when we was switching the padding over, no doubt it doesn't get more OEM then this.

When you shoot flat paint every panel has to be shot separate. You do not shoot the entire car at once. Very long paint process

Prob.. the Doors, Trunk, Hood are being done seperate maybe because they need to paint a bit on the inner jams or maybe the whole under hood.

I'm not a painter, but I did speak to Color Tones, Basf, and few other people and it is the process. Something about the mixed paint drying to fast inside the paint gun. Don't quote me!
