Auto lock after parking

I got a ride from a co-worker in his Cadillac and as we left the car, his car locked on its own. I asked him about it and he confirmed that the car automatically locks as he walks away.

Is this possible to do on our cars?

I do use Carly and found a “lock after X time” and I set it to 1 minute but it doesn’t seem to work. Car doesn’t lock after any amount of time.

That's withe auto-lock after driving option: time vs. road speed.

As far as I'm aware, there isn't a way to have it auto-lock after you walk away from the car after the engine is off.

I was playing with it and saw it happen but i found it too dangerous so i removed it. i could see myself locking my keys inside. I can't remember where it was but it was definitely there.
