This is really only competition to the Model S, which means at least initially it really isn't much in the way of competition to Tesla.
Now that doesn't mean that they can't develop something that could compete with the Model 3 or Y.

Pretty sweet inside and out.
However I'm not a fan how how Tesla (and this Lucid concept) eliminate the sunroof. I'm sure it's done in the interest of range and cost, but that's a deal breaker for me.

I think it looks terrific. The sun roof adds heat gain to the car which would then degrade battery performance by requiring more AC.

Eh, I'll wait till I see a prototype vehicle. I can't put any hype into these startups, especially not with the virus now. I want to root for Rivian of all companies, but it will be some time before they have a product that they are actually selling and can be driven and owned.
