you guys may want to think about a "meet up" at NYST instead of Bear.

It will be a bit longer drive for you. But.....

You can signup for the track day and do a mature, cruise like 15 minutes sessions.

If you have never been to a track day, no worries. I can organize for you a group that is only cruising the track.

I think that you would completely blown away by the experience.

I can even set it up as me leading at slow pace and NO ONE allows to pass me. That will guarantee a gentleman cruise.

If we can have enough cars singed up, we will be on our own group and any one that has had enough going slow can jump over to the next group and have it at any pace they want.

This would be a very simple for me to organize,
and besides the 15 min session every hour will allow for 45 min conversation every hour on ALL the topics you would want to discuss on Bear.

Let me know if this sounds good.
Next dates are July 28 and 29th.
pick a day and I can get this cleared by the track. we can register as a group and own that session. the session will be closed registration to only vetted cars to guarantee the cruise experience.

A mountain run and track day are two different things. A drive on some good roads with a great view is different experience than a track.
Btw, I have been doing 2-4 track days a season since past 8 years. Including AutoX sessions. Please don't confuse a mountain cruise as a substitute to a trackday.

Hey Guys, new to forum world and realized this was under the M3 section... I'd be down for the 7th/8th or 14th/15th if this cruise isn't limited to M cars

July 14th sounds good to me as well. Let's start a count and recommendation on route. The final route will not be posted here. I'll send that out privately.

Looks like NYC, N Jersey, Westchester, Rockland are represented . How about meeting at the Palisades Mall and heading up the Palisades Parkway?

Since people will be coming from different parts. The final meeting spot is 92 Roa Hook Rd, Cortlandt NY. We will start our cruise from there at 7am sharp.

Any recommendations on the route? I have few roads in mind but, I'm open to additional suggestions.
I don't usually cruise inside bear mountain park, but stay in the outskirts. Although, for pictures we can go the highest point.
Also, any suggestions for where to have breakfast/brunch from?

Headed back south? Anyone coming up want to meet somewhere before heading through the park?

I have updated the original post. Let's decide on final stop. I'll post my recommendations of route. And will take any suggestions.
But I won't be posting final route on the forums. I will PM the route to confirmed guys/girls.

Let's get the list going for confirmed cars. Remember, I'd like to stay under 10 cars.

The route will start from 92 Roa Hook, we'll go through bear mountain bridge rd, make a right and go to denny town rd, from there to Main St and make a stop at starbucks, then into the Harrisman state park from Gate Hill Rd, Drive Kanawauke rd, lakehill rd then drive up to Perkins Memorial. After that, we'll go for Brunch at Hogan's Family Diner.
We'll have plenty of time for pictures between and end of our route.
This is a high level of the route so far. I'm open to suggestions. Also, anyone who is familiar with these roads can of course take the lead.

So far, confirmed entries include:
BPe90M3 - e90 M3
Silverstoneorspacegray - e92 M3
2RearDrive - 235i
NismoZzZ - 370z Nismo
Ernest72 - BRZ

I'm still deciding what to bring to the cruise. 18' Camaro SS 1LE(track package) OR 08 '135i with M3 Suspension upgrades.
