Lease penalties??

Anyone know what types of penalties are involved for ending a lease early? All this new BMW trunk money has me thinking so I was wondering.....

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but you really cannot just end your lease early without paying it out. If you decide you do not want the car anymore, you are still liable to BMW for the remainder of the lease payments in the lease agreement.

The best, and really only thing to do, is to transfer the lease to another person. Like swapalease.com or leasetrader.com

Yea...that's what I figured. Just thought someone here might have an angle I didn't know about.
