I've run mine until they were slick and corded. They're that good.

Don’t want to come across as nitpicking, but do you want to save you from a potentially rude surprise in the near future: 🙂 you don’t need to run those tires backward to get the best tread on the outside.
If you just take that wheel off and put it on the other side of the car, the tread will be backwards, but the current outer shoulder will still be on the outside. If you dismount the tire, you could mount it in reverse on the same wheel to get the current inner shoulder on the outside, but you’d be better off mounting it in the proper rotational direction on the other side’s wheel, which will put the current inner shoulder on the outside, but with the tire pointed in the correct orientation. |

True, assuming he is using them on the track. Still wouldn't want to run that large diameter.

Out of curiosity what is the tire size on the 20" LM-R in your pic? 285/30/20 is a size some people used with that wheel on the e92.

Yes that is the size I currently have. Next time I might try a 295/25/20 back there. Too bad it's only 10" wide but as my street wheels i think it would be fine.

Well, there you go. Pretty much same diameter as the 285/35/19 being discussed. Are you having DSC issues?

Tires came with my wheels, I wouldn't have chosen this size. The larger diameter rubs the bumper tab.

I would choose the 285/30/20 if I were to run 20's on the e92. The extra sidewall height is a plus (over a 295/25). Bumper tab is easily modified to fit (as I'm sure you know).
