19" AC Schnitzer Type II (Type 2) 3-piece Wheels (Brand New, Fully Rebuilt)
Hello - SELLING: rare set of AC Schnitzer wheels that I sourced, fully rebuilt, and sold car so never mounted tires and ran them. Cars that these fit: M3 (e46, e90/92/93, f80, etc.) m5 (e39, e60, f10, etc) Details: Price: $4250 Brand: AC Schnitzer Spec: AC Schnitzer Type II (Type 2) 3 piece wheels Condition: Brand New - Rebuilt w/oem parts, never had tires fitted, never ran on a car Wheel Fitment/Size Specs:AS REBUILT (widened with new barrels) - Front 19 x 10" et 27 (2.5" Lip on face) - Rear 19 x 11" et 27 (3" Lip on face) - Centerboard - 72.56mm (Note - Original Centerbore is oversized at 74.1 {which was specific for e39 5 series} but wheels come with Ac Schnitzer Hubcentric Rings to convert to 72.56 which is what all other BMWs are) PURCHASE INCLUDES - Comes with: 1) Original UK Factory/OEM AC Schnitzer Hubcenteric Rings (for BMW 72.56mm centerbore fitment) 2) Custom Aluminum brushed finish center caps 3) Wheel Spaces - two 3mm & two 5mm (can be ran based on your car, your brake clearance requirements and poke/tire stretch preference) I did not need them for my e92. 4) AC Schnitzer Manual Pedal Set (Clutch, Gas, Brake, Dead Pedal), hey its nice to match Story: I owned a e92m3. Spent 2 years trying to track down AC Schnitzer Type IIs... Found them in Auckland, NZ. Purchased and shipped to Washington DC. Used Stefan Durjic who managed the full re-finish and re-build for me. What did that include: 1) Full dis-assembly of original wheels 2) Disassemble, tumbler, refinish and recoating of all titanium hardware (bolts) 3) New hardware (nuts) 4) New powder coating to factory SILVER finish 5) Recycling (throwing away) the old barrels as they did not work for the spec of wheel size I was looking to build specifically for e90/92/93 m3 more full/flush fitment. 6) Sourcing new inner and outer barrels from Triangle (HRE Manufacturer/supplier) 7) Re-assembly of all new barrel components, refinished & new hardware, refinished powder-coated center faces, new valve stems, and new center caps Additional Details: 1) Inner barrels are black, outers have polished faces 2) Barrels are heat treated and zinc coated 3) Factory AC Schnitzer Type IIs have 74.1mm center bore, perfect for various body style M5s, Stefan (rebuilder) sourced factory AC Schnitzer hub-centric rings for fitment M3s (e92, f80, etc.) 4) Center Caps are a custom creation of brushed metal. They contrast to the powder coated face and polished lips, which I love Pricing Calculus: I am asking a price that I think is fare given the rarity of the wheels, their brand new rebuilt condition, and spec's My costs: - Factory/Original 19" wheels in Used Condition - $2100 - Shipping from New Zealand to US (Wash, DC) - $550 - Rebuild Cost by Stefan Durjic (New Jersey) - $2375 - Centercaps and new hardware - $250 ALL IN COST TO ME TO SOURCE/SHIP/REBUILD - $5275 ASKING PRICE $4250 TO CONTACT ME? - Please don't PM me, I don't check these forums enough to respond - Please DO email me - gkatzm3group@gmail(dot)com - Text is ok - 240.461.two three nine zero BRING ON THE PHOTOS GUY Last edited by gkatzm3; 10-12-2020 at 04:59 PM.. MORE PICs... finished product... sorry on the last post, I thought I posted the pics in order of the rebuild process... they definitely didn't appear in the order I'd hoped.
Thus... here are clear pics of them as they sit in my home Including a "before and after" side by side attempt. |

Quote: Curious as well. Assuming these have already sold? Or... HolyChitMeng Quote: Interested in these if they're still avail. Answer is Nope... I posted the wheels for sale in August fresh after moving from Washington DC to Los Angeles...and am now checking in on this post for first time since I last bumped it months ago. Got married in end Sept, honeymoon in Oct... and now finally back to normal life. Wheels are still sitting protected in my home. (located zip 90094) I'll send each of you a PM with my contact info if you want to reach out. On buyers, I have not felt like coordinating cross-continent payment/shipping for international buyers so I've said no to several buyers in Germany and UK. Several local interested parties interest faded .... will repost on forums then toss up on Ebay shortly... as I now have time to coordinate on shipping arrangements for people far away |

I realize this is a silly question, but the photo of the front passenger wheel mounted - is that before the rebuild and before the lips making them 19"?
It looks like it.. But just making sure. Also, I cannot find any pics of these mounted on E92 M3's online. Does anyone have a link/pics? thank you |

to answer your question, yes, the photo you see of the wheel mounted on my space grey e92, is the wheels in their oem form which is like 19x 9 and 19x10 if I recall correctly. to get a feel for what my 'rebuilt spec's' would look like i took the authentic original sized REAR wheel and put it on my front...and it looked great, so Stefan and I proceeded with the rebuild based on 10" wide fronts and 11" wide rears... but with new barrels with deeper lips which changed the offset to sit more flush and fill the wheel well without super stretched tires.. I did not want a super stretch style set-up ... i was going for a full & flush look with a plump profile tire sidewall... to be clear, the stepped lip doesnt make them 19"s, they were already the much more rare 19" faces in oem authentic form as manufactured by RONAL stamped made in germany with AC Schnitzer branding, vs more commonly availablle 18s (you see alot on e36/46). The new barrels simply changed the wheel offset to provide a more flush fitment for more modern bmw ///Ms offsets (m3, m5, etc.) I have test mounted these on my friends f80 for fun right before I moved to LA, and they looked exceptional... (See photos) to properstyle's note below, he is correct. In all my time in car shows Ive never seen ACS type II 3 piece racing wheels in 19" on a e92... thus why i worked so hard to source, buy and rebuild these. I think the look on the e90/92/93 body is amazing. His photos of his e90, and seeing these wheels on a e46 m3 cabrio at Bimmerfest were my inspo to finish the rebuild. They of course fit, but they are so rare, I only know of 3 - 5 sets in existence built to this spec in the states.... I doubt there are many pics are out there other than these http://www.mppsociety.com/project/pr...-ac-schnitzer/ and the Driftworks v10 m3 in the UK... and whoever owned the gorgeous blue e46vert I used to see at H20i in OC, MD anywho...I'm in Playa Vista CA, so for anyone that wants to test-fit, come on by... zip 90094... Find a friend local to me with an e92, and Ill happily meet them to do a mock-up for you. Cheers, Gabe |
