My company car has 70% on the fronts. Seems to do a good job from what I can tell. Makes me want fish bowl!

By comparison, the 20% version is 62%, 97%, 99%, and 77%, respectively. So as far as UV and infrared protection for the interior, the lighter stuff is basically the same as their darker tints. 20% would be illegal in a lot of states, actually.

When I saw the Llumar on a car at the shop, I was immediately turned off by it. I thought it looked cheap, but to each his own. I used to have their Formula One nano-ceramic stuff on my M3 and it was pretty good, but I just didn't like their lighter stuff.

Yes, the Crystalline line is not cheap. That's why they can get good protection & rejection without it being very dark.

Llumar

I have 40% Huper Optik on mine. I did consider 70% but chose the darker version for our "hot" summers -
