Front brake temps,and relives the pressure that builds up in the wheel arch
Provides moar downforces


Pretty cool cuz you can watch the smoke from the brakes venting through the vents lol


Here's the same ones on our e92

They are n15 vents

They come flat
You have to curve them and open the vents yourself

I fitted them
Drilled all the holes for the rivets

Then rattle caned them lol
If they get damaged I'll take them off and have painted

how is the upper fender liner looking now? can you still run fender liners, or do you just have to get rid of them all together?

interesting. i think i might try to cut and rivet the fender liner with the vents. how easy was the install? i've been looking for a spare set of fenders to practice on, but they don't come up that often or people want way too much for them.

No need to rivet any part of the liner
I cut no part of where it bolts to the car
It retains all factory mounting with plenty of opening

You need to measure for days
And have a nice air saw

If you're good I would say 6/10
It's way easier to fuck up compared to hood vents

I did something similar to fight heat.

Went with Geoffe Steel intake, then angles the radiator, cut come more of the bumper and ducted the radiator. Eliminated the power steering cooler by going electric. Then oil cooler went where the old intake was lower right of photo and then another one in series went on the left in front of and lower than the DCT. These things have solved my heat issues thus far. Also removed AC.

Plus the hood venting.

I have to ask, the Geoff Steel ram intake you have. Any custom ecu programming to accommodate that piece? I've been dying to do that piece or a ram air design but I know the computer will be all over the place and there are no known tuners for our cars in the northeast.
