Individual Color Ordered-individual leather?

Obviously embarrassed by the results, no pics! Ever wake up in the morning and grab ur Neptune blue slacks, then match em up with that Fox Red button down???

There are so many better colors you can get for $5k through Individual.

And get the Platinum interior (a member on here has an AW with Platinum, looks stunning) but these light-colored interiors will get destroyed in a matter of months no matter how careful you are.

Platinum is really hard to maintain, must be prepared to get the interior detailed every 6 months. But does look stunning.

Hi guys & girls,

i'm looking out to buy an M3 2 but just don't know what to expect...

Would love to go the individual way, thinking of Night Blue with Amarone (extended so that the black soft look plastic is also in leather same as the ashtray) with piano black inlay...

It also has a big chance of being a cab instead of a coupe.

What do you guys think about it?

Colours is the most difficult since Azurit and Jerez and Carbonblack are also nice but I would love to have a dark blue paint and the other are more black then blue.

Just thinking if one should order a Jerez or Midnight Blue would see the difference very clear?

Same as for Jerez or Azurit, think the difference between these is rather small?

I'd just like to have the center console portion extended (..Silver Novillo). Would it be possible to just order that console piece from BMW?

This may be a possibility. The center armrest can probably be done if the center console is not available.

Glad to FINALLY see this combo. I remember the guy posting about it on this site, but we never saw the photos. I even sent him a couple of messages.

I don't think it's too bad, at all. But I don't think it's different enough that I would pay the upcharge for it.

Close Technic. In the thread you linked, the portion where the buttons, etc. are located is silver. I want the portion under it (..I guess you'd consider it the console base!!??!!) wrapped in the matching Silver Novillo for my car. That's the only part of the Extended leather that I'm interested in.

Oh... the console. You can either order it on your own then, P/N 51167901952 (Palladium Silver) or request it as a special Individual swap in your order.

Are you getting the two-tone or the mono-tone Palladium?

I already have my car (..mono-tone Palladium), so I just wanted to exhange the OEM black plastic console out for the leather wrapped console.

Can you get a good price on the console?

If BMW (I would guess Individual) can make the M3 shifter trim in carbon fiber then I don't see why they cannot do it in Piano Black: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481321

I would guess that the cost will be in the thousands, though.

CF would be easier to do than piano black because of those crazy curves on the edges ?

BMW already have a Piano Black shifter console for non-M3... http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1290707772

It shoud be a matter of doing exactly the same manufacturing process with a M3-shifter (3-buttons) console.

I've also read (here on the boards) that there are certain aftermarket companies who will manufacture a piano black center console. Unfortunately at that time, I never bothered to remember the name. Too bad, because now I have piano black as well, and really want a piano black center console.

IMO this is a shortcoming of the BMW individual program. These center consoles should come standard with their interior trim options. For 3-5k, shouldn't they?
