Track: The Ridge Motorsports
1:55.10 (HLT) - 7/16/19 - Same setup as above. RS4's on their 7th day and still going strong! Got a few mostly clear laps following a ZL1 1LE with 305f/325r Supercar 3R's and managed 3 '55ers in a row. Luckily he was slow enough to give me motivation to keep up.

Track: The Ridge Motorsports
1:54.47 - 7/26/19 - 9th day on RS4's (~1200 track miles total now). Managed to do a couple 1:54's with nobody to chase somehow during the first session of the day, then boiled the tires and had a lap of multiple big slides at almost every exit. Also, got some pad fade and cooked my PS fluid (no PS at all at idle after sessions), and then couldn't manage to go faster than high 1:56 for the rest of the day after the track started heating up.

I've only been to Pacific twice but enjoyed it both times. February and 32 degrees 🤣. Eight foot ice puddle on the back straight. That front straight/corner 1 is a lot of fun!

Dude - I'll see you there tomorrow! Hope it doesn't rain. Your Ridge times are looking good also, I think my best is a high 1:53 or low 1:54 - something like that. And I know there is a lot left coming into both turn 1/2 as well as the carousel.

That sounds terrifying. It's totally dry today though. Turn 1 and 2 are pretty awesome, and this track is pretty epic in general.

Ah man I can't tomorrow. Tapped out on time for the week! Weather looks perfect for you tomorrow though!

5000 mustangs haha. Turn2 is running the Mustang Ride and Drive event at Pacific, so I brought my M3stang.

Managed a 1:35.91 following a GT350, but there was slow traffic for us almost every lap. Enjoyed the track a lot though. Turn 1 at 145ish is quite thrilling pulling into that wall and then braking for turn 2, and all of the bumps make it very interesting. I'll definitely be back and do the proformance driving school at some point. Pretty annoyed that the track workers took it upon themselves to end the day 40min early and steal B and C groups' last session though.

Pacific looks like fun with some areas looking like the ‘ring.

There's a lot more time in the car but unfortunately people take 1970 cars and think they are ok to run in the red group (highest one) so getting a clean lap in is difficult

The video is pretty epic, it's always fun to watch all the red group 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 RS get crushed by a car we drove into the event.

There was a cool E92 with a Harrop supercharger there, good pace as well!

Track: Worldwide Technology Raceway - Circuit of St Louis CCW 1.65 roval
Best time: 1:10.8
Brakes: STR40 front kit with DS2500’s, RB rear stock replacement rotors with RB Street pads
Tires: Conti ExtremeContact Sport 275/35-18 on 10” ET25 TA16’s
Suspension: front Sachs performance coiliver single adjustable struts, dinan plates, dinan bar, stock ZCP rear springs and 1M rear shocks/Bumpstops

Engine Mods: karbonius, AFE catted xpipe, tune, MPE

6MT 08 E90 - 3609 with driver - full interior - fuel light on

This is a whopping four tenths of a second quicker than what I did a few years ago on RS3’s in much cooler weather, with 18x10’s and MCS dampers but stock almost everything else heh.

For reference, a decently well driven 981 GT4 on RE71R was about 2 seconds quicker. Tires are probably half of that, the other half would take some hardware changes to close up. I’m not saying I got all there is to get from the car but I have done about 2000 laps of that track and have held a few TR’s in racing classes, so I think my estimates are close. Oh well. Not bad for the same car in the same configuration I took my kids to school in today (less booster seats)

Yep. Naming rights allllll the things!

The trac was about 3/4 second off from my May times due to temperatures. I ran under the TR in May in Q in the SRF, but couldn’t get within had a second in the heat (and on shit tires) this past weekend

I ran 1:07.1 there on One Lap - 285 RE71s and some aero and you’ll easily beat that! I’d like to think I could cut some time off with more than 3 laps. That’s a fun track, especially for a roval!

I love the track but I can say it’s not just because it’s my home. They’re messing with it and I hope we continue to use the old configuration sometimes. It’s a roval that fast cars can’t leave the throttle pinned on, with two real no guts no glory sequences and a technical challenge and it races really nice too. Pretty much all the reasons indycar seems to like it apply to the club race course

1:07 on any street tire is flyin. I could see aero making a big difference in 2 and 3 and the oval for sure. I was having to bleed a ton of speed through the oval. Nothing like sliding a 3500lb V8 sedan car at 98mph on a short oval to make you feel like a real ’murrican racecar driver and nothing like inspecting your 300+ treadwear street tires afterward to make you feel like a real ‘Murrican dumbass They look like Harvey after he became two face - half ok half mutilated

The latest Viper ACR passed (more flew by) me on track and motivated me to string 3 consecutive mid 1:53's together before my pads faded. It was a tricky day with only the last session of the day being dry, so I got some great car control practice...
