Test water. How much does 2012 bmw m3 e93 dct worth?

Hi all. I'm planning to sell my e93. I'm asking for $31000. How do you think about this price? Reasonable or over price?

Seems like a reasonable starting point. How quickly do you want to sell it?

I bought a similar spec'd car, although e92, with 53k miles for 24.9k a few months ago. Not sure if E93 will fetch a premium over e92. Albeit yours is a bit newer then mine. I would say 28k is a fair price for a 2012 vert with those miles.

I would suggest adding more photos to your ad -- interior, engine etc.

I agree with others. Your price point is a good starting point and you should be able to sell it for 2k or so under that. If you are firm at price you can get it sold but may take a while. That color combo is highly desired however the e93 in the Northeast seems to be a hard sell. A more limited number of people looking for those than e90 and e92. Nice car. Glws

If you can appeal to and find the right buyer, you may indeed get close to what you want. I'd suggest beefing up your ad though. It's missing key information such as:

- options are equipped
- whether you have a full documented history of maintenance and repair
- original owner or not
- any extended warranty applicable
- how it was stored during your ownership
- and last but not least - more pictures!

although it's a desirable colour combo - because of it's popularity, you may be competing against several other examples which makes it harder to stand out.

Price is good for year, colors and considerably low mileage. Stay firm and a buyer will eventually show up

I'm not rush to sell it. I would sell if the price meet my bottom line

People stating they bought their e93 M3 for xxxx less than your price isn't necessarily a good comparison of value. There are far too may variables to discuss over each car that can influence value other than year and miles.

Low miles and "mint condition" don't always go hand in hand. I've seen plenty of 80k cars in far better condition than cars with half those miles. That's why internet shopping has its limitations. Peoples standards also vary. Plenty of self proclaimed "OCD" types calling things perfect when in fact they're quite average or poor condition. I see that far more often than cars that are actually perfect.

That said...one would need to look at your car in person to assess its value but your price is a good starting point for the right buyer.
