Wow crazy seats man! Apparently a heat gun is the best way to deal with them

Thanks I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. Took a while but car shows are mostly canceled anyway so it don't matter.

I have a set of CS' coming from AMX in the next few weeks. Ordered them 5 weeks ago.

E90 non foldings CS w/ OEM Speed Cloth
///M in the headrest
Heated
Non-airbag

He sent me this the other day showing his progress. It sounds like they are all but finished now.

Whole seats or just the covers? Hope you don't get hit with customs fees like I did.

Awesome! If my M Perf seats ever wear out, I will be ordering these speed cloth covers for sure!

Whole seats. Hoping I don't as well. Wonder when and why they decide some pay and some don't?

if customs goes through your parcel you will have to pay duty fees

Well my order was over 2500$ (pretty much whole interior in 2 boxes). Depends what he declares
On his side. I ended up paying 75$ even though he sent me a revised declaration form, but it wasnt fun getting a call from ups asking for my social security number to clear the customs. Luckily they didn't open the boxes so I was like whatever 75$ not a big deal and just ate the fee after submitting a revised customs form.

Those were the boxes his packing is incredible though.

Wow, those are amazing... I love seats that retain a factory look. May have to consider something like those in the very distant future

I ordered new covers from max recently too.. just got black leather with grey recaro logo.. pretty plain, Out of interest how did you guys pay him? As soon as I said send me an invoice and I'll PayPal or Cc the money he got a bit defensive insisting I pay an additional fee, which I gladly did because I know an international wire would cost $45 anyway. I knew they'd be a fee on top. As soon as I paid the invoice he was super nice again, I think he probably has to sift through a lot of BS from around the world

I can see how he'd prefer a wire over PayPal. Unfortunately (for sellers) PayPal tends to favor buyers. My guess is he's been burned before. Odd though he doesn't have a credit card point of sale on his website. I'm sure he does enough business to justify it.

I personally wouldn't want to wire over $500 for any international purchase. Once that money is sent, it's gone...

Yeah my thought too.. I was expecting an invoice with a payment link. I got a hold of him via whats app... very quick to respond and I know he works late hours judging by his response with the time difference. Saying goodbye to my mismatched racecar interior 😂
