I'm sure you read the article in the current R&T with Tony Stewart, as well as the current AutoWeek. Both were rave reviews of the C7.

It was unclear from both articles as to whether the car that was tested had the Z51 suspension, or the Magnetic Ride. Does anyone know?

I believe reports are the magnetic suspension. All of the reviews have been great so far. Motor Trend did a great video (on youtube) and they loved it. I' excited. I'll own this for a few years and then buy a 2016 M4

According to Top Gear we're all business men that constantly wear suits, watches, Bluetooth headsets, etc... They've got a point about some of our members

Not that anyone here cares, but here is a new picture of the Stingray I have coming (changed the wheels to black) ... still a bit of a wait. In 2 years, I will have to get an M4 to park next to it in the garage

From the recent Edmunds comparison to a $145,000 991 911S with PDK...

"Steering feel and response, next to torque, are the Stingray's biggest allies. There's a confidence in the C7's steering beyond that of most every other sports car made today. Its front end sticks with intractable persistence."

Willows Springs road course.

Porsche 911 Carrera S: 1:25.6
Corvette Stingray Coupe: 1:24.6

Willows Springs is only 1.6 miles long, a 1 second gap is a real win. My bet is the C7 laps the 'Ring somewhere between 7:30 and 7:32 based on the 991 911S doing it in 7:37. That's pretty fast.
