Is both wheels off the ground ?

Or do you have one side jacked up with the sway bar loaded? Lol

Last time I had that issue, I just tightened the bolts back, lowered the car back down and jacked it back up and that was enough to let me adjust them. If you have a second jack, you could also try jacking the strut up a little to take some weight off the plates as well.

Good luck!
Thanks again for continuing the info stream.

What gear would you suggest?
I think Pocono is a trap speed competition and you are required to start between 55-60mph. So in that scenario I would be in third gear at 60 (assuming DCT trans). From my experience optimal starting speeds are 50mph in second gear and 80mph in third gear.

Are there companies who will do this if I send them my old rotor? I'd love to have someone make one for me

I don't think so, it's just a quick cad draft and water jet or something... not difficult for someone who knows how.
We were cleaning the garage this weekend and mrs beef was giving me a ton of shit about keeping "garbage."

On a side note, I test drove a f250 platinum diesel today. Phenomenal truck. Great ride quality and super comfy. I'm in love. Can't swing it yet, but I'm sold.

So um, what wing would be recommended if I don't plan on doing front aero? My pseudo-coach Joe drove my car and said it could use a wing, especially as we went through turn 8 of Thill East at high speeds. (he took it faster than I did) That's my next step in addition to a proper seat.

Video encoded, had to overlay timer in editing because my laptimer function didn't properly engage during the challenge session:

And full session:

Just checked COTA off my bucket list. MVP Track Time squeezed me in on their final weekend day in the advanced group. This was my first time ever driving this track and my best time was a 2:35.67 which I feel is pretty respectable; the unofficial stock Corvette Grand Sport lap record there is like 2:34.80 so I'm not far off. I know there's still plenty of time to be shaved off.

V max was 152 and lateral g max was 1.49.

You can't really see it in these videos since most of these guys had packed up already, but the cars that showed up were truly insane. Two new Ford GTs, a McLaren Senna, a 570S GT4, a Huracan Performante, two Blancpain challenge teams (AMG GT3 and Huracan GT4), a Ferrari 458 Italia GT, probably a dozen 911 GT2 RSs, and so on. While it was cool to see stuff like that up close, they were so insanely fast that I struggled to get clean laps in for the two morning sessions. I don't understand why cars like that aren't in their own run group...

Maybe this one:

https://www.bimmerworld.com/Body-Aer...D-AM-Wing.html

I wish they made that for the E90.

Man it looks so weird though!!

Makes me think of an STI!

ok I have my excuse - my OE CF trunk lip is mounted with Betalink. This Grand AM one wouldn't be able to go on.. I guess GTS wing it is. Any recommended vendors for good fitment? I see Bomiz is sells for $450, Mode Carbon $700-$900 range. RKP a little over $2,000. Tradeoffs? I just heard that some vendors' parts don't mount fully flush on the trunk. (base to trunk fit)
