Made a few mid to high 14 second passes at West Hampton dragstrip.

Yes... Ugly and slow (Got the color right at least) but a HUGE learning experience. Did ALL the mechanical work myself with the exception of the machine work. One of the things I learned is painting a 4 door Honda Accord BRIGHT blue, and putting a loud cat-less exhaust is a good idea if you enjoy getting 10 traffic tickets/ week (equipment violations and driving out of class)
Dozens of tickets, and thousands of dollars later, lesson learned...

Blew first clutch @ 3k miles. Not covered under warranty
Replaced with ACT Disc clutch and installed lightened flywheel while I was at it which voided warranty, Blew countless syncros, diffs, etc...Learned how to rebuild transmissions with that car.

Only tracked it once w/ Clutch, Boost controller, and Downpipe ONLY, (Still stock exhaust)...Ran 13.1-13.40's all day in the 106-110mph range... Def would have been in the low 12's with the rest of the mods & Meth inj. At only 18 years old, I was way too young to have a car that fast, lucky to survive MANY extremely close calls with death.

June 3rd 2014, retook my road-test and literally got a ride STRAIGHT to the BMW Dealship...Test drove 4 or 5 M3's in 2 days and the next day on my birthday June 4th 2014 drove off the Lot with my fully loaded Bone stock M3 Coupe 6MT w/ about 20k miles...Extended warr & maint. (Drive 20-30K miles a year).

Funny because the M3 combines all the best features and all the specific things I loved about each car and rolled them into one package with the added luxury on top of it...

The handling and similar body lines as the EVO8, the high revving, high compression of the B series Engine in the CRX (& HP/LBS Ratio) and the showcar theme, styling of my first car...Now Im in the financial industry and meet with clients, this was a natural evolution and my only choice

Only 5 months later...

BTW: Sorry for the long winded post, makes me nostalgic...

That's about it.... Plannin on swapping the scion for the new accord ..... Looking at a 100 mile commute a day for work ... Need another regular car to balance out the miles on the M3

I love them, little difficult to clean because of the porous surface, but I get lots of compiments, I NEVER see them on ANY cars EVER, and they weighed in at 17.5lbs each (rear) on the shipping invoice.
