Exposed fender liner on front driver side.

Recently when I changed out the driver side front turn signal bulb, part of the fender liner was ripped off making a small hole near the inside cover panel you need to remove to change the PY24W bulb. I don't know what is back there besides the headlight. Should there be any concern if rain or other elements should get inside?

I would replace it. over time water and stuff will get into engine bay and rust out more things. it's a cheap part like 90 bucks
