Wait so was your fiance driving the Fit? Or was she displeased because she was in the passenger seat of your car and knew that when you push your car too hard (i.e racing a Fit) you can get the "DANGER TO MANIFOLD" warning and her floorboard would fall out.

Yes it was my Fiance's Fit. So she wouldn't have fallen out when my passenger side floor fell out due to blown intake manifold welding.

Haha this is pretty funny. I had a similar story back in the day in Calgary.


My dad dropped me off to the dealership to pick up the M3 for service. And at that time our second vehicle was the 2002 MDX (on its last legs), and I guess he wanted to show me some of the "power" of the MDX as he was following me home a on a single land road.

Long story short, this is a hilly road that goes up and down fairly quickly, and I saw some people standing to the corner on of the hills, and right when I saw that I tapped my breaks to tell my dad to not overtake me and stop riding my ass.

Lo and behold, my dad went to overtake me and speed off.

Little did he know, that the two people I saw were cops and gave him a ticket for crossing the double yellow and 90kmh in a 60km/h

So let me get this straight.

1. First, it was your fiancee in the Fit. She then got mad at you for having some fun?
2. Second, you posted on this forum a funny story, and other forum members immediately jumped to the conclusion you actually were racing a fit and started acting like your dad, wait, like your grandpa, wait no, like your boring, condescending grandpa?

So here is my advice:
1. Please as another M3 owner, do not marry your fiance. If she puts you on the couch, she then wears the pants. Over time she will work at you and you will soon be another boring condescending grandpa....but you will be driving a Camry.
2. Never post anything amusing on this forum...M3 owners are jerks....this has been factually proven, so don't take anything they write seriously. (unless you put a disclaimer)

That's a Seattle thing?! I was in Seattle for work and an older guy was driving me to the airport. He was in his minivan in the fast lane going way too slow, and he was talking to his rear-view going "yeah... you like that? That makes you crazy, doesn't it?" I was the silent passenger since it was for work, but I was thinking "pull to the right, Jackass". I guess he was following the local custom.
