4ngiefest 2011 - April 2, 2011 - ATL
4NGIEfest '11 Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 4ngiefest '11 will be open to ALL GERMAN vehicles. But as always, everyone is welcome. What is 4ngiefest you speak of? 4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles. In 2008, in association with ClubBimmer.com we drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books. Being the 5th annual 4ngiefest, we are striving to make it appealing to everyone attending. Every year we collect donations and send money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through merchandise sales and private donations, 4ngiefest was able to donate nearly $2,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last year and we plan to exceed that again this year. Why the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society? I have dedicated my time to promoting and organizing every event in memory of a loved one that I lost to Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in 2004. WHY is it called 4NGIEfest? We hear this question more than anything else.. Angie, (known as 4ngie on several BMW/ import online communities) started this event for BMW enthusiasts like herself. 4ngiefest was named after Angie by a fellow fanatic because we hope to one day be the East Coast version of Bimmerfest.. although we have a long way to go. Also because saying the 5th Annual Atlanta BMW meet in Atlanta, GA is just too much to say. It is important for people who don’t know 4ngie to understand the humor behind the name. 4ngie does not host this event for attention or recognition. In fact, many people have attended every year and still don’t know her. We do this for the love of German Cars and to raise money in memory of a loved one. As the infamous Kpeng once said: “4ngies are hard to find at 4ngiefest. Kpengs are everywherez.” What's New? The site has been updated. You can register online. There will be a running list of registrants which shows the person's name, location, vehicle, as well as showing them on a map. Newsfeed - Keep updated! We are in the process of designing new shirts which will be available shortly. We're also working on some other merchandise such as glasses and decals. We have a couple of confirmed sponsors so far, but we need more. UUC and Tischer have promised to be there, as well as some others. Here's a map of Stone Mountain Park. The lot we're using is the Yellow Daisy lot, across from the police station, in the bottom right corner of the map. "Entrance into Stone Mountain Park requires a $15.00 (CASH) one day parking permit per vehicle. This permit gives you access to the Park's numerous outdoor adventures for all ages including the public picnic areas, hiking trails, children's playground, walk-up trail and the spectacular Laser Light Show NOT ALL ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN ON THIS DATE.." Please note: This is for all German Makes. Rain: It's possible, so be prepared. Rain or shine, 4ngiefest will go on. Chairs & Pop up Tents: Bring 'em. Donations: can be made online! Donations@4ngiefest.com Sponsors: Please PM 4ngie or BeingDevious @ E46fanatics.com about donations, raffle items, vendor space at 4ngiefest, and advertising spots on the site. 20 Duck Thurmond Road Dawsonville, GA 30534 ? Im suprised there arent more people checkin this out. 2008 had 180 BMWs right? Should be great turnout this year. There is a very large group of us coming down from Ohio. Myself and a few others from Pittsburgh, PA are driving down as well. Last edited by TravisBurrell; 02-02-2011 at 02:32 AM.. |

Due to circumstances beyond our control, (weather), AMP is not likely to have construction completed by April. So.. we will be having 4ngiefest '11 at Stone Mountain Park once again. Same date 4/2/11. Sorry! I forgot to add that part in there! It's gonna be at the usual place in Stone Mountain. Last year we had over 300 cars. Can't wait!

Kris, this is the way it is here. I wish it was more active than this. That is why I post on the e90 Post Southeastern Region. If you still want to ride down to Stone Mountain, let me know. I'm pretty sure they'll be others.

I'll be in attendance in my E36. Picking up some new tires, and changing the oil the night before to be ready for 4ngiefest and autocrossing this weekend. See you all there!
