I've probably spent more time on these forums reading up on mods than working so getting some real good ideas. I'll wait on doing any engine mods, want to take the summer and get a feel for the car as is right now. Car did come with the Dinan intake so maybe get a new filter. I would still be interested in the mods that won't effect warranty though.

I did just order some LED angel eye replacement bulbs and some exterior pieces from iND to start.

OK now show it some love:
get that CarMax sticker off the back
get the front plate "fixed" ;-)
put Redline oil in it
and, Cool Carbon brake pads on....
I had them take off the CarMax sticker before I drove it off the lot and I have since just removed the front plate but there's 4 holes that are drilled in the bumper as if someone messed up the first time.

I'll definitely look into the Redline oil and Cool Carbon brake pads, thanks for that.

I think too long of plate mounting screws punch the top two holes!

Yuck must be contagious. My bumper was undrilled when it shipped, they put a plate bracket on here in WA and there are FOUR holes underneath. Since plate is law here I'm just gonna run it until I can go euro bumper. It kinda takes the wind out of your sails though when you see those holes.

Damn that's tough. Glad mine had no holes. I do need a front plate in my state so I got the tow hook one. Holds great and didn't need to drill anything.

Like I said earlier, the marks to the right of the actual hole is from using too long of plate mounting screws.

ECS has unpainted euro bumpers for $500. I got my plates and mounted them today including front. Not terrible but not preferred. It's temporary.

I was looking at the ECS euro bumpers and the oem euro bumpers from IND Dist. but of course they cost more but for extra they'll paint it too. I'm in no rush for the bumper though.

Go with the painted as opposed to a local shop. Their experience with the exact color will be the difference. Install of a bumper is rather easy so you can do it yourself. Depending on condition, you can sell your oem bumper for a few dollars or reinstall it and sell the Euro bumper when and if you ever sell your car. There is definitely a market for used painted Euro bumpers although shipping is always a pain in the rear. And specifically Alpine White as there are so many of them out there.

My bumper looked just like that when I got my car . I used a razor blade to very carefully flatten out the big holes, then used touch-up paint to paint the inside of the holes. I also used some touch-up paint on the 4 smaller indents. It looks ok now, far less noticeable. When I have a good reason to, I will buy a painted Euro bumper from IND but for now I just try not to think about it.
