Again, thank you for this guide, I've been using this set up for a while now. One addition to recommend is that for the rear calipers which use the washers I'd replace all four BMW Disc Brake Caliper Bracket Mounting Bolts - 34206850536. I believe that using the 2x2mm flat washers might cause less bolt thread into the caliper and the existing bolts might come lose (mine did), even when the correct torque is applied (the torque for the rear brake caliper to wheel carrier is 65nm (47.9 ft-lbs)).
You will notice that the new bolts have a teal colored coating on the tip, likely threadlock. |

I was told by BSI upgrades on Facebook that to install F8x M brakes would only require adapters that cost only 240$. Is this true? Another company VYS garage said I would need F8x hubs and rotors. BSI upgrades doesn't send large packages because their overseas in Poland, but if they did they say I just need the adapters with the calipers and I'd be good to go. I hate e9x calipers, for some reason I just need my calipers to be a nice shiny red or blue if that's what's easier to get at the time.

For the folks that did this upgrade. Just wanted to confirm what was listed. So we are to use the e9x brake lines and not the f8x ones? A post a while back mention something about the thread on the hose is much longer and doesn't seat all the way? Thanks for any help/feedback.
