18x10" wheels/tires that clear KW Clubsport coilovers
Much like the Brembo 380mm/ 18" wheel clearance thread started by (Kaiv) - This list can be comprised of 18x10" wheel/tire front fitment that clear the popular KW Clubsport coilover suspension.

It's important for people responding to note that the spring shapes are very different between a clubsport kit (cylindrical spring) and the Variant 1-3 kits (cone shaped spring), so experience with a different KW kit would not directly apply.
Another variable you may want to collect is if people are keeping their helper springs in. The helper spring adds a lot of stack height, and forces the lower perch to be set low. Different length main springs, and no helper spring can make a huge difference in clearance. Tire size as posted by M3 Esq will be important as well in combination with brand. |

Apex / Arc-8 / 18x10 et+25 square / Hankook RS3 275/35/18 / ST60 front / ST40 rear / just ordered the KW Clubsport
Questions/concerns: -Is there any benefit of running anything larger than a 5mm spacer in front? -Is it generally considered safe to use a 5mm spacer in front: like the TMS 5mm spacers? |

10.5 will need a larger spacer up front than the 10" wheel, regardless of camber. Since the inner and outer clearances are both decreased by 6.3mm, you'll want a 10mm spacer and a lot more camber.

I am at the point of deciding whether to use the 5mm spacer, try a 12.5mm spacer and see if that works with my alignment and outer clearance or go a spring swap (as in Slicers' thread regarding clearance issues). |

hm, your fitment in the front is on point my friend.
what is your front camber damn, that would be an effective x 10.5 + 10 at 275... (probably looking at hankook as they have a more rounded sidewall like you as well) i'm assuming i'd have to go at least -3.5? |

Since you don't have the coils installed already, i'd recommend the spring swap when you get them!

Do it right or do it twice as they say! The cost is marginal for the added ability of not requiring spacers and being able to run a wider wheel/tire up front without issue.

You're probably right... I can find the springs for about ~65 bucks, so might as well as buy two. I will bring the spacers and the springs to the shop when they are to be installed and see what happens!

Remember, if you swap springs, you won't need spacers at all

In light of recent frustration
A) With KW clubsport being an absolute well made set of coilovers for the E9X M3 platform. And truly not falling short in any category for me at this moment in time. B) Inability to run certain tires all together, due to inability to fit 275/35's in front because of spring/strut orientation. |

How big of a spacer do you need to fit 275 up front? I have apex arc 8 275/35/18 squared on michelin 4s tires.
