Bear Mountain Run - Sunday 9-2-12

Folks, I know this is a last minute notice, but if you guys are free this coming Sunday, my bud E92Mazing arranged a meetup in LIC. Please see details below...

Meetup Time & Location - Sunday 7:30am In front of "The View"
Address - 4630 Center Blvd. Long Island City, NY 11109
Destination - Bear Mountain up to Storm King Highway

There are 4 cars confirmed including myself. We are all leaving from The View and making our way to the FDR over the GW. Quick stop for Gas on Point B, before making the drive to Bear Mountain. If you guys can't make it to LIC and want to join the ride, we can designate a spot to meet en route.

After the drive as an additional activity, really depends on the interest, we may stop by GPNY for some GoKarting.

Seeing we are meeting around 7:30am, if we leave by 8am I think we can be there around 8:30am give or take...

The gas station at point B on the map is a Luke Oil right before the palisades pkway starts. We can meet up with the rest of you who are interested at 8:30am at the gas station

so far I have myself, jom3z, brooklyn mark meeting at the start point at 730am, leaving at 8am
then possibly meeting paladinjc and m3crit at the lukeoil (point B) at 830am... we can wait for 10 min there and then we take off from there..

Hi all, I'd added another meetup point after the gas station to our route. Please use the following map moving forward. Point D, is a parking lot along Seven Lakes Dr which overlooks a beautiful lake. Meeting a few more at this location at 9:30AM Sharp!

8:30AM-8:40AM, Meet at the Luke Oil before Palisades Pkway, Point B
9:30AM, Meet at the Lake Skannatati Parking Lot, Point D

It's unfortunate that the day got cut short, but it was awesome meeting everyone. Hopefully we can do this again...

I feel bad, but kinda glad I was slacking behind with the other guy. The cop in the cruiser flicked his lights on, we slammed on our brakes, he hopped the median and took off. We seriously lucked out. Then, up over the hill, we saw him swing a hard left and we just kept going straight...
