Thanks all for the kind words...............

Again,
I was planning on getting a no option one, but I will NOT get an M3 again that is not fully loaded, and especially not without the extended leather...:-)

It is just so nice to know that you have leather on the center console and glovebox....even if others don't notice it, I know that its there and its soft to the touch!

While buying the car, I asked the CA to look for an Alpine White 09 Sedan...He looked and only found DCT.....(3 cars were coming to the US, but they were already reserved, or someone ordered them!) I only wanted my M3 in Manual....Lived with an SMG for six years, and wished for a manual everyday! DCT is smoother, and makes the SMG feels old, but still, I want to move my hands while approaching a corner and downshift myself, instead of clicking and having to watch the numbers go down(same as bikes!)

Sat down in the 09 with the new i-drive and played with it, but still, happy with what I have....difference was going to be around 4-7 k to get an 09, but the same money can be spend on a nice exhaust + intake...

You have to post pictures of the interior! I want to see Alcantara red leather.

What is a carbon eyelid? Could you post pics of that too?

The gear knob looks pretty cool too, and its unique.

Congrats, and enjoy.

Hi Esrin,

Thanks for your kind comment. I've put up some pics i took this morning for your request before heading off to work. Pardon my poor photo snaps with my phone as my SLR is getting serviced. M3 is sitting at home in the garage during Mon - Thurs.

Unfortunately there are only two M3 in Brunei both of which are 2008 models. The first is the AW Coupe and the other is the 4Dr Silvestone II color. Well, the E92 M3s in Brunei is ridiculously overpriced at BND225k equivalent to USD142k. Yup, you read right! Really stupid isn't it! I call it day-light robbery...

Anyways I purchased my E92 M3 as 2nd hand (7.5months old) for BND150k equivalent to USD98k with the mileage sat at only 3120km on the clock because the previous owner had lost interest in the M3 after he purchased the Audi R8 (2months after M3 purchase) and VW R32.

He obviously had too much money and wasn't fussed so i figure it was a deal and steal of the century especially when i was in the market for a car after selling my 2007 Audi RS4 for USD122k with a mileage of 18,450km.

Either ways i am really disgusted at how cars are priced in Brunei especially when i know their true value back in Aus (of where i grew up) and US. If it wasn't for the sale of the Audi I doubt i would have owned the current M3.

You never owned Audi RS4!! Maybe I should post picture of your previous car here and let everyone know if thats worth USD122K...
