Picked up a MR e92 M3 this weekend

Well i saw they extended the rates on the 08 m3's and just couldnt pass up the deal. I always had my eye on a Melbourne Red m3 that was at the dealer here and decided to work out a deal. After going back and fourth i got the car for 200 under invoice and .09% financing. I Love this car. This is my 2nd Bmw. I already have my eye on some mods. Vorsteiner lip, trunk, some eibach springs, etc. Im just trying to refrain my self from full throttle during the break in.

The car is an awesome machine to say the least. Going up to the 5500rpm range the car has an odd power band it seams. I guess thats because i cant really get on it. But it seems it has good power from 1k-3k but after 3k to 5k it kind of falls off a little bit. I guess i can't judge until she is broken in and i can really open her up.

Yea im going to detail her here soon and ill snap a couple pics. Alot of my friends when i told them i was getting red with tan and black interior all thought it was going to look bad. But when they saw it they all actually liked it a lot. My friend calls it the ferrari combo lol. My fionce wasn't to fond of the color combo either but she says she really likes it now. I like how the tan and black break up the interior a bit.

If she doesn't like the interior, u can find another fiancee. She will like it then

What options and packages did you go with? I love MR on E92 it just looks so good
BUt I live in a gloomy dark city, so it just wouldn't feel right having red here

I love the beige with red. Having the mixture of the new colors with black split interior looks really good, it gives everything a more lively contrast

Actually i got the car from vista. My friend is good friends with the sales manager so he hooked us both up.

Yea i love the red. Its different. I read somewhere that only 4% of 08 m3's in the US were made in red. Not sure if there is any truth to that but.....
