Road Atlanta this Saturday
This was my very 1st day on track since October 2017 and with an all-new MCS 3-way coil setup. It was a disappointing weekend (Sunday cancelled due to weather). Coming from a custom KW CS that I developed over the last 2 years I changed to MCS 3-way.
The car felt terrible and l lost 3sec vs. my PB of 1:32 in 2017. I lost all time in the high speed sections. I'm pretty sure -eventually- the coils will be an upgrade I just need more time to tune the setup. I will work on it and will return!

I have trouble with the 2 way setup and don't find the extra adjustment to be what's holding me back, but tuning 2 ways is already really hard! When you get there I'd really appreciate your settings! Ps: Mr Kline will set up the suspension soon. I can send you those settings as a baseline. |

Don't let him talk you into soft springs. He drives from Columbus to Mid Ohio on Hoosiers

My springs and suspension are already on the car, I'd just like some help with a proper baseline. When I go out all I see is red mist and forget all about tuning the suspension I wanted to get Randy to do it but I don't think he'll have the time |

The yellow Porsche at the beginning caused me to enter T1 ~6-7 mph lower than every other lap, and this caused me to over slow here too. I was consistently .4-.5 seconds faster in just this section every other lap. Damn, if only ... I think high 54s in perfect cool conditions is possible, but looking at the data that will be tough. A fresh set of tires will probably help get there. |

jakob66, are you planning on visiting Summit in June? I would love to go over some things with you concerning my car and your products. Saw you car at Snowfest VIR and fell in love with the noises it makes.

The TT3 rules determine -based on my calculated average hp- what the weight needs to be (in my case 3570lbs). I actually had to add 90lbs.
However, I could select the spots where I put the weight so my static cross weight (with driver!) is now 50.0% and front to back is 51%/49%. The car is now very balanced. Thanks!

Road Atlanta in 1:31.69 with TT3 car with NASA SE
Won Saturday with a 1:33 (93F!) and Sunday with a 1:31.69. I was 3rd over entire TT field and was only beaten by two TTU cars, a Radical and C6 Vette in full race trim.
Track: Road Atlanta Date: June 16/17 2018 Lap Time: 1:31.69 (NASA time & Harry's) Car: 2013 E92 M3 Weight with driver: 3610 lbs max whp: 374 WHP Tires: 295/315 Hoosier A7 Weather: Hot ! On my fastest lap the GoPro didn't start so I chose another 1:32 lap. I'm getting tired of fiddling with Harry's, the GPS sensor and the OBD features that recently seem to not work. I might switch to AIM. I simply want to get in the car and concentrate on the job and not sync sensors. Enjoy! . .
