What's the spring rates and is this a true coilover system in the rear?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'm interested in your kit, is the set up intended for the EDC spec or non EDC spec car? I have been informed that the EDC car requires a specific bushing for the top mounts. thank you for your time. dont let the name fool you, I replaced the 335 with a e92 M3, just never got around to changing the account name

This is a rear coilover setup so it does not use stock-style bushings; instead, it uses a rear upper clevis mount: https://www.bimmerworld.com/Rear-Cle...X-and-E8X.html

If you were to switch to a divorced (stock) rear setup, you’d need upper mounting bushings that match the piston diameter of the MCS damper so EDC/non-EDC is not an issue. Piston diameter of EDC and non-EDC dampers are different but the bushing outer diameter that mounts to the chassis is the same.

Also, it is recommended that the e9x M3 chassis be stiffened and strengthened at the rear damper upper mounts if you plan on running a true rear coilover setup.

thank you for the advice, I will have to do a bit more research into how much additional hardware is needed. thank you for your time and knowledgeable insight

So the rear upper clevis can be removed easily and upper mounts found so that it mounts like stock again?
