Yeah, necroposting in this thread to see if anything ever came of this and if the engines need to be retuned or have their idle set differently to accommodate a light weight flywheel.
I know that motorsports engines have to idle higher because of less engine inertia. F1 idles at 4,000. |

The light weight flywheel can also make the car easier to stall due to the lower rotating mass, especially if paired with a race clutch that is really grabby. But for a race car? Hard yes!
