Can CIC controller be fixed?

So I was doing a CCC to CIC upgrade this weekend and it turns out the controller unit i was sold is faulty. I saw a few people on here having similar issues, but was curious if anyone knows anyone who rebuilds/ fixes them. I actually have 2 busted ones in hand so I'm just a little skeptical about buying another one. Thanks!

The CCC controller works with the CIC for the meantime. Make sure you are buying an E series controller as the F series CIC controllers do not work.

Yeah, I still have the CCC in there for now so it's not like a huge rush, just more annoying because everything else works great and I still have the old knob haha Definitely a first world problem. Thank you so much again for the upgrade. It all works perfectly!
