Nav question... turning off map on right side

hey guys. im running out of ideas on how to do this... I find it convenient when im in entertainment or communication that on the very right a small navigation map is displayed but when I go back to navigation it is still there displaying 2 identical maps. I have an 08 e93, how can I turn this 2nd map off so I have a fullscreen map?

Just toggle to the right to highlight the inset screen, press iDrive button and one of the options is to turn that off. It stays off in all other apps too, until turned back on the same way. You can also change orientation and other options in the small window this way.
