Yes, I received mine. It's really stunning, lots of great detail, plus incredible visual appeal. It's well worth the price if you are into a limited edition model of this nature - I am sure my 3 sons will be fighting for it over my grave! Now I just need to find the 1:18 Alpine White ZCP and I will feel complete!

BTW, I had a hell of a time getting the regular BMW Motorsport E92 GT2 in 1:18 as well. I ended up giving up on Tischer and my local dealer and got two from Germany off of eBay. Actually cost me more than the Koons Art Cars.

I order both cars from Tischer. Then got this email last Wednesday:

Your order number has been cancelled, as these model cars have unfortunately been discontinued by BMW and are no longer available. Thanks again for keeping us in mind, though - getBMWparts.com

Proboably not their fault, but sucks just the same!

I often look at all of the signatures of posters here and see such-and-such-BMW "Retired." Makes me wish that in addition to the actual M3 vehicle we order that BMW included a 1:18 of the same (color, style, etc.) with the purchase, sitting in a box on the passenger seat. That way we'd have something to remember the car long after its been sold/retired/donated.

Same here, got the email advising the GT2 no longer available...

However on my order from ticher bmw it still shows Art car on order still...

A side note: I did luck out with my local dealership, when I placed the an order for both the same cars as well...back in Nov or Dec 2011, and got it in March...just the Art car came in, still awaiting news on GT2...

That is very possible! Possibly Tischer was able to only get few of the GT2 No. 78 cars; thus filling in the back/pre-orders first - in this case, looks like your order is okay.

Unlike, myself having ordered 10 days later, they have no more orders they can fulfill, hence cancelling...if they tried to reorder more, BMW must have advised no more stock/discountinued...bummer...ugh these elusive die-casts!
