Texas M3 in need of HELP in Colorado Springs
Hey guys,
I am in Colorado Springs and we drove up Pikes Peak this morning in the M3. I pushed the car hard, as we were the first and only ones on mountain on a monday morning at 730am. When we reached near the top my car went into limp mode and said engine malfunction. Code was gonna and hasn't come back after restart. I am hoping it has something to do with my 93 octane BPM Stage 2 tune and the elevation. BMW here wants 150 to scan the code logged from it. I was curious if anyone was near by me with a way to read my fault codes. I am on the first day of vacation and really don't want to have to go home early. I am also interested in what anyone thinks could have caused it. I thought it was a misfire, but now im thinking the incline might have messed with oil pressure? Thanks in advance! |

Some place called farm crest. We have some app that tells us where race fuel and 93+ is local to your location. I had a lot of 91 in when we got here unfortunately the drive here was 91 only outside of Texas....
