Beware of Rallye BMW

Just wanted to share my experience with Rallye BMW with everyone. I brought my car in Tuesday morning to have the blower motor wiring recall done. Long story short, I got my car back today and they cracked my front lip and put 10 miles on my car! Got the run around about the miles and they claimed my front lip had a crack to begin with. I did LIGHTLY tap a curb once but it wasn’t half as bad as it is now. They are not claiming any responsibility, saying on camera it was already damaged. Instead of fixing the issue or compensate me in any way, they are trying to upsell me another BMW front Lip “at cost” and install it for free. Common!

You can’t complain about a lip which was already cracked especially when your car is in for warranty work.

There’s no way to prove they cracked it if you admit it was cracked upon giving them the car.

The 10 miles I’m not sure about.

I'd be annoyed too. Tough since it was already cracked, but I'd wager they hit a low driveway or something in their 10 mile joy ride.

My odometer didn't even change by 1 mile when I went in for the recall.

Always Always Always take pictures of your car(wheels, lips, ect.) and odometer before giving it to a dealer for any kind of work. Unfortunately there are some shady people out there.

I had a dealer curb a wheel and claim that they didn't.

As it shouldn't, there's no need to test drive a blower wire fix.

Yea of course....just said that to illustrate 10 miles is insane.

I've never had mileage put on my car at the Dealer. I also only go there for warranty/recall work.

Lessons learned. Will do this moving forward. Saw a couple of M4 and M6’s also getting serviced so thought if anything those would be taken for the daily joy ride.

They're offering a new one at cost and it was already broken - stop scamming

I went to Park Ave BMW and I dropped the car off at 9 AM took a shuttle home and picked the car back up at 4 PM. They seemed pretty busy when I dropped it off too.
