Currently going back to stock. Not sure what color interior it'll have but probably black. Never tracked. Cons - has holes in the trunk from a wing I had on it but nothing major. Not sure what wheels it'll have but I'm looking for stock ones.

Owned the car for 6 months or so. Bought it out of Seattle, Washington. Currently going back to stock and will be ready for new owner by mid-late November. Taking feelers now.

Car has no window tint on it as of now either, I had it pulled off. Also has a windshield visor strip.

Located in Irvine, CA.
Thanks!

How the car sits right now.

I would be open to offers at $55,000 with the E88's, carbon airbox, cage, seats, etc... but I plan on taking them all out soon and going back to stock. Car runs great.

Thanks!

"Clean history"

Does this car have any accidents? Paint work? Has it ever been super-charged? Has the car ever been ran on 91oct for thousands of miles while tuned for E85?

All maybe good things to disclose when trying to sell a car for top dollar? Hate being that guy..but c'mon man. Just don't want anyone in this community to bite off more than they can comfortably chew.

edit: grammar

this right here! I follow Spencer on YouTube and Facebook and I recommend anyone trying to buy the car watch his YouTube videos. Lots of information about the cars history there. Yes it's a good car and potentially a good sale but everyone deserves to know the history of the car they buy. I've been on the other end of not knowing and it's not fun.

Apparently transparency doesn't coincide with marketing.

If only these posers would stop ruining beautiful cars for Instagram likes. Big a$$ wing, roll cage and tow hook but “never tracked”.

time to go back to the F80 and make a video about how much you missed that platform.

I'm all for people switching things up and having a good time with cars because at the end of the day that's what it's all about. A lot of flavors to try out there but when I run Accross someone who repeatedly says "man I'm glad to be back in e90 m3" and then sells it, it's super mis leading and makes you question everything that comes out of his mouth.

Who knows maybe OP has a very compelling reason this time… again..

Spencer,

I've been following you for quite some time and seeing you hop around to different m3 platforms. It has been a pleasure to watch over the years. When I saw you get back into this one, it definitely put some joy into my day to see you so happy to be back into an e90.

However, this is throwing me for a loop. Now, I understand whatever you may be going through isn't our business, but if something brought you so much joy, I think it's something that you should focus on keeping. It may not be easy, but in the end, it'll be worth it.

Also FWIW, I know the market is pretty wild right now, but it seems this is quite the stretch given the history of the car. There is a 1 owner 2011 track spec (no hump, no sunroof, manual seats) for sale right now with 27k miles for 45k (https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1871874). I just don't want to see you pull a fast one on the community that you have been focusing on for the better part of 5 years now.

Just my .02 cents. No hard feelings.

Just wanted to share the fact that it's unfortunate to see the negativity and hatred coming from people in this thread, it makes the BMW community extreme toxic and why I honestly really never use the forums. I rather stick to my own groups I have with people who understand and have an open mind, compared to going straight to a negative thing off the bat.

I hope whatever you're going through heals and you find positive love and energy in your life.

I think a lot of people have been following you for years and appreciate your contribution to the community, especially when it comes to aftermarket parts, myself included. But I also believe I speak for a lot of us that your post isn't exactly presenting the car as it is. Based on your videos we were told the front clip has been repaired/repainted from a speculated accident, engine has been replaced and was previously supercharged. So, "Clean History" doesn't represent the car as such given what we were told by your videos. When you say people wanting clarity as toxic, its quite the contrary. This isn't hate, this is wanting an overall honest representation of the car so people who don't follow you have the information they need to make a decision on buying the car. Its still a Melbourne red, slicktop E90 and will pull a higher premium. But don't exclude important information, especially to a highly informed community. That to me, is toxic.

Good luck with your sale

Where is the negativity and hatred?

All I see is people asking you to be honest about the car you are trying to sell.

If you don't want to have to receive what you regard as being negative and hate filled comments just take down your listing and sell it to someone in one of your own groups, where they understand stuff and have an open mind about stuff - since you think people on these forums are so closed minded and have a lack of understanding.

Problem solved.

This ^^^ 100%

No one is hating you as a person. They're giving you backlash on a dishonest for sale post. The car's history is all over YouTube and Facebook, and this is the result.

Can't preach positivity and being a role model to the community if you're not fully transparent about selling your car.

Open mind? Straight to a negative thing off the bat?

You are trying to sell a vehicle for top dollar without representing the full facts of the car. We are looking out for a possible future owner or returning owner. And just because no one is bending the truth about your car doesn’t mean there is hatred. Represent the car how it is, especially since you are asking top dollar and there won’t be any comments basically calling you out.

And you are asking $48,000 for a car and the best you can come up with is “not sure what wheels it’ll have” and “not sure what color interior it’ll have”. Come on man.

Maybe he presumes since he's a "known" YouTuber it doesn't matter how poorly his for sale ad was constructed.

Seems a bit immature and childish to say the least from his response to others just calling him out and looking out for the rest of the community.

It's best he just takes this down tbh.

Negativity and hatred? Toxic group of owners? Please stop it.

The forums exist so we can help and look out for each other.

If anything is toxic here, it's marketing a car at full retail and stating clean history without disclosing various issues.

bro you're literally lying to us about your car to our faces. we all know how this car really is. but you are just straight acting like we are stupid or something.

you're literally scamming the next potential buyer, this is literally scamming.

with those false information.

I stopped reading the rest of the thread after this post.

No one is being toxic in here. People are asking you to be honest and you're confusing it with being toxic.

You're being extremely dishonest in your post. You've documented a lot about this car on Facebook and on YouTube. Everything from running 91 Octane for a car tuned for E85 to buying fucked up E88s.

As a buyer I would like to know these things.
