CarPlay retrofit with RCA output?
I purchased a CarPlay headunit from AVIN, planning to install it since the car came without BT audio. The largest downside I see is that it outputs to AUX, are there any headunit a that are more plug and play to the factory speaker harness or even have their own RCA output?
I initially planned to run a better AMP and upgrade the speakers with larger sub included. It's still doable but obviously would sound and function better if it had proper input from the headunit. I don't really care about the CD player or radio working if I had to bypass those.

No such units seem to exist. I think this is ultimately a limitation of the MOST Bus and how aftermarket companies have built their units. I don't think it's impossible to build design such a thing, but I suspect most vendors decided that using the AUX to not remove OEM functionality was the tradeoff that made the most sense and wouldn't require any coding or other complexity.
