Bavarian Autosport Show and Shine 10/6
I know I will be attending this show. Will anyone else be coming for it?

dam thats early...are they showing up at 6 just to get in the show-lot or the spectator lot nearby? I was thinking about showing up at 9, just when the vendor tents open

The last time I went, a couple years ago, they had a whole lot of cars on site. Easily 200+

I am going. The Bavauto lot is often full and closed by about 9 am. By late morning, both sides of the street will be parked bumper to bumper for a 1/4 mile or more on either side of the driveway.

I am spending the night just ten miles down the road, but some Bimmerforums people are meeting in various places:

Here is what I know from past events there: The parking lot is scheduled to open at 8 am. Only BMWs and MINIs will be allowed. The maximum capacity is 300 cars but with good weather expected, they will easily need to turn-away folks hence folks getting there at 6am to get in line. Just an advisory, if you plan to stay for just a couple of hours, they recommend using the spectator parking, as it can be difficult to exit once the show begins. Most hotels in the area are fully booked so I will likely go but not try and get into the show and park in the street. I don't want to get up at 4am to get in line!

The lack of available hotel rooms is not solely due to this event. I believe parents weekend is that weekend for some local colleges too.

Only the possibility of light rain for short durations. I am still planning to attend as a spectator.
