Looks like we're in a golden age of sports cars/supercars.
This thing looks amazing. Engine is highly speculated to be co-developed with BMW. Imagine if it's using the S55? lol, I doubt it though the engine cover looks to be characteristic of a V6/V8. (S63 ??? imagine that :

I really hope it's a GTR competitor and priced right around $100k. I'm dying for a RWD high performance Japanese car.

Wishful thinking that if it is the new supra that it would have a supra price tag and not a Ferrari. Car looks awesome except the front is a bit awkward

I didnt think there was such a thing as a GTR competitor for 100k. i dont think ANY RWD car can be really.

I'm not talking about 0-60 specs. I'm talking about being a high performance bargain that's fast on the racetrack. Being RWD already makes it better than the GTR in my opinion.

You're insane this thing is easily a million times better looking than the RX8. Very Japanese, that is certain in it's styling, but definitely not RX8.

Here's the deal, I don't want a limited run $100k toyota coupe. (Don't know anyone who does either)
Make it less than $50k as a supra successor with a bmw twin turbo six and it will be a major success.

You nailed it. Even if it doesn't use the a BMW TT I6 and it uses the new V8 from the RC-F the point all of the R&D for potential powerplants is done. Trying to create a bespoke power plant would be useless and a waste of money. They should get to the parts bin and shoehorn a motor in there that will be both powerful and good cost them less.

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
