I ordered a set on 4/10 and asked several times for an estimate on shipping time along with other questions and the estimate shipping time was always skipped/avoided. They did however tell me that they are also being built by Stoptech at the moment, this was around two weeks ago.

I call today to find status, he answers with a pompous tone, doesn't have any information, then I inquired about my email "oh the one where you wanted to sweeten the deal." Excuse me? I inquired to see how different this color change is and if it's way off I'd like to have some options or compensation. Not to mention your lack of response was unwarranted. Turner, your customer service is a joke.
Thats interesting, I asked if they matched color scheme wise, and was told they match 100%.

I can't imagine how many orders were placed. I expect over 100. And they are building each one.
Really want them to rush? I'm not saying customer service isn't important, they should set expectations on lead time, I agree; but chill with the whining.

Whining? I give two shits if they come two weeks from now. But when your sales agent is unprofessional and tells you there is an issue, doesn't respond, that's a problem. The other thing, if you give your customers a time of arrival then you are liable to some degree.

The time is not the problem. The customer service is. Turner is branding this as a "Special Edition" kit specific to them, but other vendors are selling them. Then there are the mixed messages about exactly what is in the box. My experience is similar to the individual who posted above. I had much higher expectations for Turner.

Like I said I agree. So ask for another sales rep. The posts above aren't only about poor communication it's setting a bad tone here. We aren't honda guys so we shouldn't chatter like them. Turner is a well known company and chastising them because of one person isn't mature. Did you ask to speak to a manager if you're having problems or just resort to internet flames?

Not sure why there would be a color issue as all of the calipers should have the same anodized finish. So the story behind these brakes as I was told by Stoptech is they accidentally built too many of these calipers with the old logo and they've been trying to get rid of them for the past 6 months. Each kit is assembled/manufactured to buyer's specs (e.g., ST-60 front with OEM rear or ST-60 front and rear or ST-40 with OEM rear, etc.) as each setup uses different size pistons and with or without dust boots. This is the reason for the lead times. It's a great deal for a great BBK.

This is Jason, the Sales Manager @ Turner Motorsport.

First off, thank you to all the people that jumped on board with this great deal. In the end, I can assure you guys that you'll be more than pumped when these kits finally arrive.

So, what's taking so long? StopTech had a lot of these kits ready to go with the exception of some rears. Neither them, nor us, had any idea how quickly these kits would sell which caused an overwhelming demand for rotors....not the calipers themselves. This shouldn't have been a big deal as StopTech has a great production team. BUT....one of their machines that balances the 355mm rotors broke. They had to order parts to get it fixed and are now up and running again. The problem is that now they are behind.

The other problem is that they never contacted us and told us why there was a delay...hence our frustration (which should NOT have led to the poor customer service some have received....my apologies). Will and myself have been in contact with the "higher ups" at StopTech trying to get all the answers which we just received last night, hence this post.

Again, our apologies for the long delay. I know in the end everyone will be super excited about this deal (we had to turn down over 25 customers who missed out). If ANYONE has any questions at all, please feel free to contact me directly. My email is jason@turnermotorsport.com and my direct extension is 137 (800.280.6966).

Thank you all for your patience and support!

I can echo these sentiments. I e-mailed Jason he graciously took the time to explain what happened. If you have any concerns, shoot him an email.

I don't believe there is one. That was a misinformation provided by someone along the chain and told to me by my sales rep.

Did you order a front kit only?

Yes fronts only. These are for track setup. Stock components should work fine in the rear.

That explains it. I had been told the rears were not ready yet, so I was surprised when I saw your kit. Makes sense if it's a front-only kit.
