e93 M3, CL listing, Tn, priced too low

Looks clean, but 111k miles, and priced quite low. Something doesn't add up. Toss bearings in and sell it fast maybe?

There's a couple of big things working against them: convertible, very high mileage, gray interior. It's priced to sell, probably because it needs work done or has a sketchy history.

Your Spidey-sense is right.

Make sure the car is there before you send the $500 deposit.

Mine has 50k miles jet black with black and bamboo beige interior. I will stick with that. There are a lot of scams here on CL, so would be leary of it for sure.

One should always be Leary of any non direct purchase. However, pricing is probably significantly higher than what the owner was offered as a trade.

Thanks, I am not in the market for another, just happened across the listing. Rare to see an M up for sale in the Nashville area, had to go to Atlanta to get mine. I am familiar with GMW, and they have a great reputation in this area. I haven't used them yet, but plan to on any future needs.

Thanks for the shout out guys!
The price does seem a bit low but it also could reflect a less than clean vehicle! Some people dont take care of their vehicles properly and this usually is reflected in the price! That and Silverstone on gray IMO isnt the most popular color combo!

Garage List
2011 BMW E92 M3  [0.00]
They should fix the add. "This BMW is the last year a v8 was put into the car," is not correct. Perhaps, the last year a V8 was put in an M3 sedan, but they are selling a vert so...

Details details details!!!

That's low, but that doesnt mean it's a scam. I'm located in Nashville, so if anyone wants me to check it out for them if serious let me know and I will get more information on it.

Here's a comp pack with 100k for 23k: https://nashville.craigslist.org/cto...888917298.html

M3's do not move quick at all in this area.

There once was a e92 m3 for $8500 because it needed throttle actuators in Florida somewhere north of Orlando.
Someone from Atlanta area snipped it from me after I took the friday off work to go get it but had the owner cancel last minute and I couldn't make it Saturday.

So $18.5k doesn't seem too low at all, atleast to me. I hear they are selling around ~$15k at auction.

I've got a coupe with 91k miles for $18k with good mods. It has less than perfect paint, but but replaced bearings, etc and it's not sold.

Any item that is for sale is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. As more higher mileage examples come on the market, the value will become clear. As an owner of a high mileage (151K) daily driver/kid hauler my expectations are low. Late last year I was looking at other cars and was not offered much in trade. Decided to keep mine as I did not find anything that brought a smile as the M3 does.

I’m sure it will be back to $16k very shortly and most likely won’t sell until it drops to $15k

And to correct that even further, the last year was 2013, not in that 2011 model.

Having the option to drop the top is wonderful right now with this weather.

Lots of low priced E92's in these links above, bucking the theory that they're so much more valuable.
