Looks like yours can be adjusted, whereas mine cannot be adjusted since everything lines up but that one particular line doesn't.

They do lack quality control and their parts DO NOT fit perfectly like OE, you have to work with it to get it done.

I did adjust the hinges as well. After many tries, I finally managed to get only the left side to align. For the right, I have lowered the hinge on the way down and there's no more room.

Vorsteniner,
Thanks for looking through the thread, I don't think I need a replacement or anything as the clear coat issue can be settle if I bring this out for re-coating...

However, I didn't except for something that pricy to come in with some minor problems on the clear coating. It's hard to see in photo's and there is no way to show it clearly....

I have waited long enough to get this thing from US to Hong Kong

But again, Thanks for looking at this thread...

hankit

TO IND: You guys are great! I hope I can deal with you guys again!

I just had the front lip and diffuser installed, perfect fitment, like OEM, very high quality. It seems a BMW dealer in Scottsdale, AZ feels the same way.

Well, we´ve had trouble installing for instance the rear CLS boot on a couple of cars already. It will finally fit, but not quite like OE. I would buy their products again, but only because there are really no other options for a boot lid that I know that is affordable.

My trunk fits perfectly even though I am too lazy to COMPLETELY adjust it, I spent about 10 minutes on it when we installed it and it looks perfect:

I will take pics of the top later, but it's POURING rain outside right now

I'm looking @ taking the plunge into Vorsteiner products. Thanks to all for posting & replying to this thread, but it does not boost my confidence in this vendor. Customer service or not, it makes me wanna rethink my mods. Nobody wants to shell out the $$$ and then have issues with a shoddy fitment. Hell, how long does it take to produce & get shipped?

The reason we and many other members and vendors on this forum back Vorsteiner is because of their commitment to product quality and standing behind their work. Vorsteiner has worked hard over the past year and half to streamline production and enforce stricter quality control standards to ensure that they meet your expectations with a premium product.

With that, they have reduced production times to 12-15 business days for parts that are not in stock but now stock a good quantity of their most popular lines. Feel free to drop us an email or PM to see if what you are looking at is in stock.

I already did - About 6 hours ago. Waiting to hear back, but whan I spoke to Jon he wasn't at his computer & didn't think he had the E90 diffuser in stock. How can a sales guy not be at his computer to answer a customer's questions on price & availability? It sounded like a cell phone -

I do apologize, on Saturdays we have the phones forwarded to our mobiles as we are not in the office. Drop me a PM and I will check on stock for you, or you can email me directly.

That's really too bad. I think if you do a proper search and ask people with their products, you will find that the large majority are ecstatic with their products.

I purchased a vorsteiner trunk, fitment SUCKS!!! I emailed them and told them that I was unhappy with the fitment and requested for a replacement but never got an email back. I don't think I'll be buying a Vorsteiner product again!!!!

Vorsteiner stands behind their product... I would really try to work things out with your vendor before starting a thread and trying to degrade rep and give a false image of the company. Not the most pro way of going, but whatever floats your boat
